Events

The Mission of Austin Mediators Association is to increase value for our members by building an active and engaged mediation community in the Greater Austin area through frequent quality training, resources, professional opportunities, and advocacy.

To that end, we host events and offer a resource to other relevant events in the greater Austin area.

Austin Mediators Association Meetings - AMA holds about 6 membership meetings per year with speakers or discussions focusing on current topics in the field of mediation and alternative dispute resolution.

Online Zoom meetings are now being offered several times each year.
In-person meetings take place occasionally and are designed to begin with 30 minutes of networking that help bond our ADR community, followed by a one hour presentation. These meetings are generally held at the DRC at 5407 North IH35, Suite 410, Austin, TX.
Attendees at any of these meetings may earn one (1.0) hours of Continuing Education (CE) credit.
Each December our meeting customarily addresses ethical issues in mediation. These meetings help fulfill Ethical CE credit requirement.
Online and in-person meetings are free of charge to members, and $15 to non-members. Attendees wishing to receive Continuing Legal Education (CLE) are asked to pay a small additional fee for each event where it is offered.

Austin Mediators Association Socials - AMA periodically hosts Socials or other events that provide networking opportunities to our members and other ADR professionals. These are not regularly scheduled and will be posted on our AMA Events page and announced in our e-mails.
