Please join the Austin Mediators Association virtually on February 26 for our first general membership meeting of 2021 as Michael Aurit explains how you can create your own ideal mediation practice. Michael will share strategic and effective steps to establish the mediation practice you have always dreamed about. This highly interactive workshop will engage mediators with five game-changing tips to enhance their mediation practice and attract more clients. We will explore the practical and powerful strategic approach to developing specific practice goals that align your practice with your core values and result in enhanced practice growth and personal satisfaction. Audience participation will be plentiful.

One (1.0) hour of CLE is pending approval by the State Bar of Texas.  For those attendees who wish to receive 1.0 hour of Texas CLE, there will be an additional $5 added to registration to cover the State Bar fees.

Presenter:

Michael Aurit, Esq., MDR  is a nationally recognized professional family mediator, mediation trainer, thought leader, and Co-Founder of The Aurit Center for Divorce Mediation in Scottsdale, Arizona. Michael is the current President of The Academy of Professional Family Mediators. He is an adjunct professor at Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law where he teaches Divorce and Family Mediation.

Michael has served on various national mediation conference faculties. He also serves as the Ethics Chair of the Maricopa County Association of Family Mediators and is a former American Bar Association Dispute Resolution Fellow. He holds his Juris Doctorate degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, and master’s degree in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute at Pepperdine Law.

Michael and Co-Founder Karen Aurit, have based The Aurit Center’s work on their vision of “lighting a path of peace and home for families.” The Aurit Center has guided more than 700 couples through successful divorce mediation. Currently, the Center’s 10 employees, including 5 professional mediators advance a simple, caring strategic mediation process for clients.

Mediators at The Aurit Center take an innovative Strategic Mediation approach to mediation practice. As a mediation center of excellence, they remain dedicated to inspiring, guiding, and educating new mediators.
