The Art and Science of Effective Negotiations

We face negotiation challenges on the job and at home, each and every day.  Whether working internally or externally, negotiating effectively is crucial for achieving great outcomes.

This short ‘sample’ class reviews several core skills and concepts that differentiate experts from average negotiators. We’ll run an interactive simulation, and have fun reviewing your decisions while identifying some keys to success that can be readily applied to future opportunities.  Along the way, we’ll consider topics such as:

  • Common understandings, and misunderstandings, of conflicts and negotiation
  • Preparation for negotiation, including several commonly overlooked elements
  • Tools and tactics for driving value for yourself, and for others

You will leave this session a better negotiator!
