Bettye Benten is Founder and Principal of Avid HR Consulting. She is currently serving as Board President for the Austin Dispute Resolution Center and as a Board Member for GiftingCare.org. She is a leader in the Human Resources industry with extensive experience in all aspects of Human Resources. Bettye has served in Executive roles for Dell Family Interests, Samsung Austin Semiconductor, Gap Corporate and The Limited, Inc.
Bettye is a specialist in leadership development, mentoring, employee relations and conflict management. She trained at the Center for Creative Leadership and has served as Co-Chairman on the Austin Human Resource Management Association Mentoring Committee. Bettye is also a certified trainer in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and DiSC, coaching individuals and teams with differing psychological preferences in self-perception and decision making. Bettye’s unique combination of active listening, her extensive HR experience and her executive leadership talent allows her to easily serve as a liaison for both the employees, the management teams and to support any organization.
Bettye holds a SHRM-SCP, SPHR and PHR from the Society of Human Resource Management Association and the Human Resource Certification Institute. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La.
